School Uniform

The School Uniform Policy has been fully agreed by the Governing body. Following the Policy is an essential part of being a pupil of St Edward's C of E Primary School

Earrings & Jewellery

For health and safety reasons we do not allow any jewellery to be worn, including studs so if you are having your child’s ears pierced over the summer holiday, please have them done at the beginning of the holiday to give them chance to heal.

Mobile Phones

If you feel your child needs to bring in a mobile phone to school, it must be handed into the school office until the end of the school day.

Nail Varnish and Make Up

We do not allow the wearing of nail varnish or make-up in school.

Imitation glasses are also not permitted in school.

Hair

Please do not have any extreme, very short haircuts with lines or patterns in and only plain coloured headbands and bobbles should be worn. Children are not allowed to wear fancy headbands, ribbons, clips or large bows (like Jo Jo bows). Long hair should be tied back.
